Greater Good Charities and RedRover understand the power of the human-animal bond and are committed to improving the lives of people and pets across the country. Because of this shared mission, we joined forces to help human service organizations and animal welfare organizations create community-based collaborative programs to help both people and pets in crisis. Together, we share our knowledge on fundraising, insights on human services and animal welfare, and construction expertise to help organizations welcome pets of domestic violence survivors and unhoused populations.

Greater Good Charities is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization, with a 100/100 rating on Charity Navigator, that works to Amplify the Good in the world to improve the health and well-being of people, pets, and the planet.

The Rescue Rebuild program began as an animal shelter renovation program and has expanded that mission to include building pet spaces in domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, and veterans housing.

To date, Greater Good Charities Rescue Rebuild has completed more than 200 renovations, providing over 360,000 nights of safety for families with pets.

RedRover is a national animal welfare 501(c)(3) non-profit, focused on bringing animals out of crisis and strengthening the human-animal bond through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance, and education.

Since 2012, RedRover has awarded more than 200 Safe Housing grants to domestic violence shelters throughout the country. These grants allow shelters to build pet-inclusive spaces so that survivors and pets can find safety together.

Safe Housing grants have been awarded to organizations in 41 states and total more than $1.5 million.
