How do
I attend?
Our Don’t Forget the Pets training workshop is offered both virtually and in-person. Whether you’re affiliated with an animal shelter, domestic violence shelter, homeless shelter or an unaffiliated individual, all you have to do is register online! Explore our available trainings below to join our next session.
Virtual Training
Stay tuned — we are always adding more dates! Since the onset of COVID-19, this program has evolved into a two-day virtual training. To start learning without delay, find our supplemental training handbook linked below that is packed with information from our training workshop and real-world examples from existing pet programs across the nation.
In-Person Training
These community-based interactive training workshops are offered in-person to foster collaboration between local human service providers and animal welfare experts. Our primary goal is to establish and strengthen these relationships to ensure the success of your newly-minted pet programs.
Host A Workshop
If you represent an agency or organization that wishes to host an in-person training workshop, we invite you to learn how you can bring a workshop to your venue. Email DFTP@greatergood.org to learn more!
